Allan TURVILLE Obituary

1962-2022
Allan Greig Turville was born April 6th, 1962, and passed away early morning March 10th, 2022, with his family by his side. Married for 33 years, he was the light of Kathy's (nee Beach) life, and their love knew no bounds. Loving father to Alyssa, Brett (Rachael) and Neil (Mubashra), and an amazing papa to his grandkids Adaline and Izaiah. Adored brother to Lynn (Perry), Lori (Alex) and Cindy (Shayne), and loving son to his mother Elizabeth. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. His love for his family knew no limits. Predeceased by his father Phillip and brother David, and in his own words "a damn good son-in-law" to predeceased Robert and Carol Beach. Recently retired from Dofasco after 40 years. He was passionate about music, golf, and his family. His dream was to play a round of golf at every course in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Al was a stoic man, quiet, reliable, and steadfast in his support for his family. He will be profoundly missed, and not a day will go by that he is not thought of by his loved ones. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, March 19 from 12 p.m. followed by Service of Remembrance held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers or donations, his family asks that you play a round of golf, mini putt, or go to the driving range in his name and memory.

My deepest sympathies to Allan's family and friends. I went to Hill Park with Al and also our 1 year at Southmount (Grade 13). In fact we both lived on the West Mountain in Hamilton at that time and Al drove me to school that year. Although it was many years ago, the way he is described in the notice is the way I remember him. My sincere condolences!

We are so sadden by the loss of our dear friend and family member. We will always cherish our memories of celebrating fireworks with our kids and all the many trips to Myrtle Beach. Al was one of the good ones and will never be forgotten. Words cannot express our deep sorrow.
