Amanda THORPE Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 9, 2022, in her 70th year. Dedicated mother of Sarah (Myles) Bartlett; proud grandmother of Stella and Oliver; and dear sister of Bette (David) Dalton. Mandy will be deeply missed by all her extended family and friends. Visitation and Service will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant St, Burlington on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and a Family Service will begin at 1:00pm. The family would like to thank Care Partners, The March of Dimes, Helping Hands, VON, The Red Cross, and all of her wonderful Doctors, Nurses, and PSWs for their help and care over the years. For those who wish, donations in Amanda's honour to The Red Cross would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

The schedulers of transportation for the Canadian Red Cross wish to extend their sympathies to the family and friends of Amanda. She was a long-time client of the transportation service in Burlington, and even though we, as schedulers, only knew her over the phone-lines, she was always kind and cheerful to speak with. She will be missed by us and the drivers.
