Andrew JENSEN

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Dearly loved and hilarious husband of Elaine (nee Matthews) for almost 40 years. Loving father to Christine Jensen and Doug Jensen and predeceased by his daughter Corinne, at the age of 3. The best step-father to Jeff, Shawn (Mara) Tombolini. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Harley, Andrew, Daniel and Tyler. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Marie Giavedoni (the late Nello) and Eileen Jensen and brother-in-law of Paul Matthews and Mark Matthews (Tracy). Andy will be truly missed by many nieces and nephews. Andy worked for Otis Elevator for 44 years. Andy was one of a kind. He was an inventor, pilot, woodworker, avid boater, motorcyclist, self-taught guitarist and volunteer at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave. E, Hamilton on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will continue in the funeral home reception lounge following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
