With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Angelo Yantsis in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Angela, father to Helen (Terry Walihura) and Cathy (Steve Strba), grandfather to William, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. A Greek immigrant who became a proud Canadian, his passion for hockey and football surpassed only by his love for his family, including its canine members. He will forever be remembered for his generosity, laughter, kindness and selfless caring nature, along with the smile forever etched on his face. He enriched the lives of everyone he met and only ever saw goodness in them. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905.527.0405) on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Prayers will be offered at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22 Head Street, Hamilton on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington.
