Anka Marijan

We are grief stricken at the loss of our beloved Anka. She was a mother to Nikolaj and Marko Zrakich. A daughter to Marinko (d. 2009) and Desa. A sister to George (Djordje) and Bob (Dobroslav). Much loved niece to Milan (d.) and Milica Marijan, Djordje (d.) and Nena Marijan and Srejo (d.) and Mira Strajinovic.
Cherished cousin to Bianca (Brana), Dunya and George (Djordje), Goran and Milena, Alex and Branko, Vera, Bobby and George Strajinovic (UK). Much loved by her nieces Emma, Victoria and Samantha. Missed by her long-term partner Steven Mabon. Anka was beloved by many friends and friends of the Marijan family. We love her and treasure the time she spent with us. We will miss her bright and positive spirit tremendously. The following lyrics reflect the everlasting impression she left upon us: "She's got a smile that it seems to me. Reminds me of childhood memories. Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky. Now and then when I see her face. She takes me away to that special place. And if I stare too long, I'd probably break down and cry." Family and friends will be received L.G.Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa Street North, Monday June 13th between 7 and 9 o'clock with Pomen By Reverend Vojislav Pavlovic. Funeral Service will be at 11 o'clock, Tuesday, June 14th at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 1401 Barton Street. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery, 700 Spring Gardens Road, Hamilton, followed by a luncheon at the Serbian Hall on Barton.
