Anka Petrina

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Anka at her home on September 18, 2022, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Stjepan. Loving mother of Zlatko "Fred" (Mirjana) and Zora "Dawn" Pavlakovich (the late John). Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Stephen, David, Derek (Jennifer), Christie (Geoff), Mark (Sharra) and John (Brittany) and great-grandmother of Nicholas, Grayson, Jenna, Arijana. Dear sister of Stefica (Branko) Markovic and Kata. Anka will be sadly missed by extended family and friends in Canada, Croatia, and Slovenia. Special thanks to all the personal care workers and nurses who provided Anka with compassionate care over the last few years. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
