It is with sadness and love we mourn the passing of Anna Gold (nee Listmayer) on Friday, August 26, 2022, at St. Joseph's hospital Hamilton, Ontario at the age of 92. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and a faithful servant of the Lord. Born March 20, 1930, in Winnipeg Manitoba to Eva and Stefan Listmayer she spent her childhood years in Sprague Manitoba on her family farm. She studied nursing and served with the Wrens in Canada (WRCNS). Married in 1960 to Arthur Ernest Gold she then moved with her family to Thunder Bay and finally settled in Hamilton. Anna is predeceased by her loving husband Arthur (1991) and mother of Darryl Arthur, Elden Richard and Esther Ann Lockhart and her husband Michael, and grandmother to Kyrinne, Holly Ann (Kevin) and Emily (Alex). In 2008 she became a resident of St Joseph's Villa in Dundas where she was cared for by family and staff. Anna is a gentle woman who loved unconditionally and cared deeply for her family and friends. She is steadfast in her faith and kind of heart. She lived her life as a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a temple worker at the Toronto Canada Temple. She is loved and will be missed by family and friends. Friends may visit with the family at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 383 Main Street E., Hamilton, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. till time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
