Annemarie BECK Obituary
May 22, 1931, to February 21, 2023
Annemarie passed away peacefully on February 21, 2023, at Hamilton General Hospital in her 92nd year after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husbands Hans-Georg Osterroth (1968) and Alfred W. Beck (2006). Mourned deeply by her loving daughter Andrea Osterroth McRae (James) and son Matthias Osterroth (Lisa McKessock). Cherished Oma of Duncan, Iain and Cameron McRae, and Dylan Osterroth. Annemarie was a devoted mother and an award-winning designer and tailor in Germany before immigrating to Canada in 1979. There, together with her new husband Alfred, she enjoyed going to the Opera and Symphony, as well as travelling the world together and searching out new restaurants. She will be deeply missed. Many thanks to her doctors, and all the staff at 8W HGH. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive Burlington (905-527-0405) on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a Charity of Your Choice.
