I met Tony when I first joined the Stoney Creek Rugby Club back in 1981 and he was a gentle giant Prop with a wide smile and a calming voice of reason. But he was a fierce competitor too. He was a big influence for a young, immature 17 year old. Tony will always have a special place in my heart and memories. Sincere condolences. Rest easy.

It is with Deepest Sadness to hear of Tony's passing. He was a true gentleman, caring, and a smile for everyone that came in contact with him. A Gentle soul full of life. He was the MC at our Wedding. Truly an honor to have him as our friend. RIP my dear friend, we will meet again.

Tony was one of the most decent human beings that every stumbled across one of my paths in life.
There was no Phoney in Tony!
What you saw is what you got!
It was more than an honour and privilege to have worked with him on a few of his social causes and to have earned the title of being his FRIEND!

Tony will be deeply missed not only by his family, but also by all those who have had the fortunate opportunity to have him touch their lives with his genuine humanity.
The world has lost a wonderful human spirit.

My heart goes out to my cousin Tony and his family. You all moved to Canada so I really missed all the joy he gave everyone. He surely was a handsome man. He is now at peace and in God’s hands . Always in our prayers.

Tony was a wonderful and caring man. He was very committed and helpful in raising awareness for social and environmental issues. In particular, he understood the health issues associated with community water fluoridation and helped with efforts to end the practice in his community. I am thankful for his support.
