I was just thinking about Mr. Strabac today sitting at work, so sorry to hear about his passing. He had a massive impact on my life as a child, and I often think about how great of a man he is. Rest in peace Mr. Strabac.

For some reason today I was intrigued to search up my 6th grade teacher Mr. Strabac from St.Marys elementary. He often comes up in mind when I think back to those days, his very strong voice filling the churches as we all sang children of the light together, or even his passion directing us in the passion of the Christ plays. He had such a love for the arts and directly influenced me to pursue my creativity. He had such a way to intrigue young minds to think bigger than what we knew, bigger than our inner city school. I wanted to search him up today with the means to contact him and let him know how much he influenced me to pursue my arts.
I´m happy he´s left behind a legacy and that his love for the arts didn´t end with him. Sending my condolences to his family, I know this loss was a big one.

I´m so sorry Sue, Liam, Nico, and Richelle to hear of the passing of your husband, father, and grandfather Tony. As many have stated on here, he had a larger-than-life personality which drew you to him, and had an equally big heart to match. I am keeping you all in my thoughts as you begin the process of healing.

I am very saddened by hearing this news. I don't think I have met somebody who was more passionate than him. I loved eating lunch with him and hearing his wonderful stories. He was very captivating. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family. I had the pleasure of being the E.A. in Tony`s room at St Luke School.
I remember his kindness and compassion to all, as well as his sense of humour, he had a wealth of knowledge and I, as well as his students learned so much from him that year! Tony had music on in the classroom each morning and would be singing...such a nice way to start the day for everybody! He spoke of his family often with so much love and I am so sorry for your loss, and so grateful to have known him.

Tony (and your family) left an imprint on my life and it´s with the heaviest of hearts that I express my condolences to Sue, Nico, Liam, and Richelle - what a loss to your family and community. Tony was one in a million, no other way to put it. I have such fond (and far back) memories of Tony and mementos from your great adventures that I still hold dear and always will. He's certainly left a mark on us all, be that the small solace that it is that he will NEVER be forgotten. My love to you all as you heal. Love, "Sarah B"

Susan, Nico & Liam....
My heartfelt prayers and hugs come your way, arms to envelope you. Wow, we met in July of 2009 during the massive flooding in Hamilton. I was blessed to work closely with you all during your homes basement restoration. Words will never capture the reality of your kindness, cooperation, support, encouraging and caring words, you accepted me into your home during such daunting times, you made me feel like a true part of your family. Upon the completion of the restoration You & Tony graciously invited me into your home, we celebrated around "Tony's Bar", a memorable evening. Tony was bigger than life and yet so kind, gentle, fun and compassionate, I became a friend of Tony & Susan, what an honor. Susan.... You, Tony & The Boys are embedded in my heart forever. Thank you for blessing my soul. I'm praying for you.
Lovingly, Ronnie 905-961-4155
