Antonietta CASSANO

CASSANO, Antonietta February 21, 1930- February 23, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Antonietta Cassano on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Hamilton General Hospital. She was 89 years of age. She was born in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. Predeceased by her loving husband Mike Cassano and cherished son John Cassano. Loving and devoted mother to Josie Petti, Donna Cassano and Pat Cassano. Dearest mother-in-law to Tony Petti and Linda Judd- Gilmour. Loving grandmother to Elena (Mark) Monaco, Michael (Sylwia), Tonia, Giuliano (Jen Lamb), and Adriano Petti. Dearest great-grandmother to her cherished Matthew and Evangeline Monaco. Will be greatly missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Nancy and late Antonio Cassano, Salvatore and Maria Cassano, Matteo and Grazia Cassano, Filippo and Gina Cassano. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Very social and outgoing, Antonietta spent many nights with her longtime group of friends expressing her youthful and humorous nature. She will also be missed by the many friends she made during her short stay at Villa Italia. Many thanks to the staff at Villa Italia for giving Antonietta the care and comfort she deserved.
