Antonio COLUMBRO Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Antonio Donato Columbro on February 22, 2022, at the age of 86. Predeceased by his loving wife Maria of 30 years, and later in life partner of 20 years, Donna. Loved father of Irma (Dennis), Michael (Susan), and Cherished Nonno of Aliza, Danielle, Michael-Antonio, and Maria. Loving brother of Fabio (Linda) and remembered by his nieces and nephew Amanda (Mark), Mathew (Monica), Emily (Mark), Marilyn (Alex), Cindy (Kevin), many cousins, friends and his best friend, Molly. Antonio immigrated to Canada from Roseto Valfortore, Italy in 1953 at the age of 18. He was a proud 45-year employee of Ford Motor Company of Canada. Antonio's happiest times were spent with his family and friends while enjoying good conversation, a plate of pasta and a glass or two of vino. A special thanks to Agata Adamiec, Teresa Morosin and Uncle Fabe for all their support. Dad, your larger-than-life personality and 'one liners' will be forever missed xo Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens funeral home, 947 Rymal Rd. E, Hamilton, on Monday, February 28th from 5-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption parish, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, March 1st, at 10 a.m., with a private family entombment to follow.
