APIGIAN, Armene ""Amy"" Passed away peacefully on her 97th birthday, December 26, 2018, at Macassa Lodge. Predeceased by husband James. Loving mother of Alice (the late Terry) O'Hara and Joan (the late James) Kemp. Devoted grandmother of Leona Kemp (Christopher Bladek). Great-grandmother to the apple of her eye James Bladek. Will be deeply missed by the Vitanza family and Sirabian family. Armene was a child of survivors of the Armenian genocide. Many people will miss her wise and sensitive counsel and never forget her loyalty and strength. Many thanks to the compassionate staff of Macassa Lodge A2. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, January 2nd from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 435 Mohawk Rd. W., on Thursday, January 3rd at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the McMaster Children's Hospital, Church of the Resurrection, or the Armenian Relief Society Arev Chapter would be greatly appreciated.
