Beverly, Warren, Kathy and Sandi....
Am so sad to see this . Don't know if you remember me but I'm Newman's youngest and I always enjoyed spending time with Uncle Basil on his trips back to Nova Scotia when I was younger. I especially remember when my family and his packed up and spent the afternoon at the beach and he carried me there on his shoulders. He was the youngest in Dad's family and so sad to know they are all gone now. Rest in peace Uncle Basil. Love you.

Dear Bev....Warren, Kathy & Sandy,
We were so very sad to hear of Uncle Basil's passing. There are no words at a time like this. My Dad loved him so.....and so did we. My heart is broken . He was the last of Dad's siblings. I know he in heaven with Dad, Aunt Hilda and the rest of their siblings, celebrating their reunion. I have such wonderful memories of him as a child and as an adult when he would visit in the summer time. Loved him dearly and so very sorry that he is no longer with us. Take care of each other. We are thinking of you all.
With deepest love and Sincere Sympathy, Susan, Kenny, Kyle & Brandi❤

I’m so sorry for your loss. Basil was one my resident’s at queens gardens gage park when I was a psw student (may-July 2019). He was one of the first actually, he taught me so much about how to care for an amputee. Basil was such a kind man, and I always reminded how kind he was to all his neighbours. I remember when bev (his wife) would come in almost every single day with Tim hortons coffee. She would take basil for drives, and to car shows all the time. Basil you will be missed & ive never forgotten you. May you Rest In Peace. I’ll think of you everytime time I visit my family in Nova Scotia❤ He walks with you everyday, and a piece of him lives through all of youI’ll keep you all in my prayers through this difficult time❤
