Betty Dedio Obituary

DEDIO, Betty Jean - it is with profound sadness that we announce Betty's peaceful passing at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter. Loving mother of the late Brenda (Steve Zuk), Elaine (Allan Ferguson), the late Mel, Laurie, and Annette (Dave Hitchings). Proud and devoted Nana of 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Mildred, Phillip, Stan, Bill, and Nettie and survived by her sister Mary of Kingston, Ontario. She will forever be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends but also by her pride and joy, her beloved budgie "Timmy". Betty worked for many years caring for others as a healthcare aide and in her later years found great joy in spending time with her family and also playing a game or two of BINGO and some cribbage. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at L. G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa St. N., Hamilton from 10 - 11a.m., followed by a service in the Chapel at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcome or a donation in her memory to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences and memories can be shared through www.lgwallace.ca
