June 28, 1948 - December 2, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Washington announce her peaceful passing at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on December 2, 2022, at the age of 74 surrounded by her loved ones. Loving and always supportive Mom to Carrie (David), forever cherished and fun-loving Gramma to Pia and Michael. Carol was a women that deeply loved her family and especially her grandchildren.
Much loved and unforgettable sister to Marlene (John) and Brenda (Kerry). Beloved Auntie Carol to Mark (Carmela), Heather (Marc), Michelle (Christopher) and Amanda and her great nieces and nephews, Megan, Melissa (Michael), Joshua, Jack, Avery and Carson. Surrogate mom to Frank Bicego.
Carol leaves behind her longtime companion Maurice, the memories these two created together will be cherished, providing him comfort. She also leaves behind many dear friends that she made over her 35 years in the Real Estate and Mortgage industries.
Wife of the late Bobby Washington, they shared a connection like no other for over 25 years until his passing in 1987. Carol lived life to the fullest and she never let anything or anyone get in her way, his passing taught her to be stronger, smarter and to love deeper.
Loving daughter of the late Edmund and Eileen Stephenson, predeceased by her brother Bryan and sister in-law Colleen, son in-law Rocco and nephew Wade.
Carol will be remembered by all for her love of family, friends, and the casino along with her generosity, storytelling and sense of humor.
Our family is deeply grateful to the nurses, doctors and PSWs at both the Juravinski hospital and the Dr. Bob Kemp hospice.
Visitation will be at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2 - 4 p.m. & 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
