Cheryl Kawamura Obituary
Peacefully, Cheryl Lee Kawamura (Kimmins) passed away at Alexander Place on February 8, 2022. Cheryl was the beloved wife of the late Andy Kawamura, and sibling to Pat, Mike, Sandra, Scott, Kim, Ken and late Ted, Terry and Jackie. She will be most missed by her nephew Steven and his two daughters Minako and Kohana. Cheryl battled Parkinson's Dementia for the last years of her life. She faced it with positivity and determination as to not let her keep her from doing the things she loved. A special thanks goes out to the staff of Alexander Place, your excellence and professionalism will not be forgotten. A celebration of life will be held at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral home in Hamilton. Interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Canada or the Salvation Army. Due to COVID 19 the celebration of life will be family only. The service will be live streamed on the site https://www.livememorialservices.com/ at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Aunt Cheryl was a very special lady. She was and always will be important part of the Kimmins family. I have so many memories of family get togethers and gatherings over the holidays. Aunt Cheryl was always happy when we were all together, so much laughter and love. It seems like forever since we were together, but we will meet again one day. She will always be loved and never be forgotten.
