Claudia Ann BARR

Peacefully, on Friday, February 10, 2023 at London University Hospital, Claudia Ann Barr (nee Smee) in her 91st year. Beloved wife for nearly 65 years of the late Jim Barr. Devoted and deeply loved mother to Debbie Twelves (Richard) and Valerie MacGregor (Donald). Survived by her brother Lloyd Smee (Florence) of Georgia and sister-in-law Doris Hayward (Ed) of Hamilton. Predeceased by her daughter Gale Tucker (Cecil) and infant son Scott. Claudia was a loving grandmother to Sara, Alyssa, Beth, Meagan, Danielle, Ashley and Michaela. Great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren. Claudia is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Claudia was a member of the Church of the Resurrection and the Dofasco Retirees Club. She loved a good game of cards, a heated game of marbles and was one amazing seamstress. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 435 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation at 12:30 p.m. Burial shall take place at a later date. A luncheon will be held downstairs following the service.
