Concetta Milazzo Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Concetta at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 90 on August 18, 2022. Cherished wife of Salvatore for over 66 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Teresa (Larry), and Gina (Frank). Dearest nonna of Laura (Michael), Elizabeth, Stephen (Christina), and Alexander. Bisnonna of Amelia.
Beloved daughter of the late Giovanni and Luigina Schillaci. Loving sister and sister-in-law of the late Maria (Giovanni) Butticé, Giuseppina (Angelo) Vella, Maria (Salvatore) Lumia, Pietra (Vincenzo) Galante, Nicoló (Meri) Milazzo, Salvatrice, Giuseppina (Diego) Galante, survived by Andrea, and the late Angelina. Concetta will be sadly missed by nephews Salvatore and Giovanni Vella as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to her niece Luigina Vella for her love, care and support. Thanks to Concetta's personal support workers, the VON and to the staff of Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Monday, August 22 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at All Souls Church on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or St. Joseph's Health Care Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
