deGOOYER, Cornelius ""Casey"" Johannes July 6, 1932 in Naarden, Holland December 3, 2018 in Ancaster, ON After a lengthy illness, Casey passed away peacefully at home on Monday at the age of 86. Survived by his devoted wife, Ann, of 62 years and daughters Corry (Denis), Ida (Blair), Joanne (Tom), Annette, Mary Ann (Steve). Predeceased by son Bert and daughter Nancy. Grandchildren Caroline (Logan), Solange (Doug), Jason (Taylor), Sarah (Craig), Matthew, Ryan (Elizabeth), Rachel (Kyle), Melissa (Jeremie), Jonathan, Patricia, Danielle; great-grandchildren Maelle, Everett, Caleb and William; and his sisters Ida, Cornelie, Henny and Emmy. Predeceased by sisters Iny and Ria. Special thanks to Father Joseph and Linda. We also wish to thank the doctors, nurses and PSW's who cared for Casey over the past years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 11 Wilson Street, Ancaster. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery followed by a reception at St. Ann's Church. In lieu of flowers donations to the Hamilton General Hospital Foundation's Heart Function Clinic or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
