David Carte Obituary
David passed peacefully February 17, 2022, at 56 years of age. Survived by his wife of 32 years Kelly Carte and their son Allen. Dave will be missed by his sisters Cheryl and Linda (Stan) and his brothers Chuck (Carol), Paul (Sheila) and Dale, his mother-in-law Bev Robson and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Jeff and nephew Adam. Dave recently retired after 28 years of dedicated work at Macassa Lodge. He loved playing his guitar and bass and enjoyed many jam sessions with multiple musicians across the city.
Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd. E, Hamilton, on Thursday, February 24th from 5-9 p.m. A private service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, William J Marky Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Arthritis Society.

Such a nice person gone too soon! He was always happy and so kind to the residents. We all loved his amazing bird calls! So sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathies. I worked with Dave for some years at Macassa Lodge in the 1990's and bumped into him from time to time over the years. Always had a smile and was able to pick up where we left off. Great guy gone too soon.
