I have just found out today about the Passing of Dave. I am saddened by the news and I can truly say that David was one of the most genuine and caring individuals I have know. I hadn´t seen David for many years but remember his genuine kindness. My sincere condolences to the Evans family.

So sad and shocked to hear about Davids passing. My condolences to his wife and children. I met David maybe 40 years ago through antiques on Sunday mornings in Toronto. He was friendly warm and never afraid to say his piece when he thought something was wrong. He spoke about his love for wife and family. At the time in lived in an stone house in Waterdown near my favourite apple farm. I know he travelled far and wide looking for stock. He once thought he found an valuable painting perhaps by Correggio. I hope he had. Will always be remembered fondly. Thanks David for coming across my path.

I knew "Champ" from the 90's. Playing golf at The Lake. Dave was a true Renaissance Man. He was fast with his fists, but faster with his wits and his smile. I cherish my time playing golf with Dave, listening to his stories of sparring with Duran and boxing in general, discussing audio equipment, music and the topics of the day. Always the gentleman. He will be missed

Haven't seen David in many years, 50 years maybe....Being one of many girls from the Beach who had a crush on him I thought I'd reach out to all that love him and say that his beautiful smile is remembered, and im saddened to hear of his passing.

I met the "Champ" 26 years ago and it was very evident that he was a special man. While we did not see each other often in the last 10 years he was the type of individual that whether you saw him yesterday or 6 months ago you could have a great conversation with tremendous ease, he was very good at that....putting people at ease. I have not had the pleasure of meeting Judy, but I met both Peter and Davey when they were just young and coming around the golf course. I was quite saddened when I heard of Dave's passing. A very infectious smile and welcoming personality. I am thankful to have known him. My sincerest condolences to his wife and children.

David taught my son how to handle himself against tough guys in a hockey game. His words were. Erik when a guy reaches back to hit you. Nail him right on his chin with a quick right then a left. If he does not go down get outa there quick!

Dave always took time to engage me in a conversation about golf and the sate of my game as well as asking about my family
