David NIMMO

NIMMO, David 1938-2019 Dave Nimmo passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's hospital in Hamilton on August 26, 2019. He was a devoted husband to Audrey, and loving dad to his blended family of Pete, Jen, Mike, Cat and Eve, Grandpa to his seven grandchildren, brother to Tom and uncle to Laurie and Rick. Dave was a retiree with a long career at Dofasco. He was a charter member of the Rodmaster's Car Club and always a friend to his Hot Rod pals. He enjoyed many sailing and diving adventures with the Hamilton Tiger Sharks Scuba Club and Fifty Point Yacht Club. He was ever grateful for the excellent care he received at the Juravinski Cancer Centre. And for the occasion, Dave can finally don that 'gawd awful' Hawaiian shirt courtesy of Karen and Ray. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and particularly his cat pal Smokey. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations in Dave's memory to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
