David Taylor obituary, Hamilton, ON

David Taylor Obituary

Passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital, on April 7th, 2022, at the age of 75. Proud father of Adrian (Susan) and Graham. Will be missed by the mother of his children, Pauline Taylor. Popsi to Jackson, Luke, Eric, Olivia and Scarlett. Survived by siblings Bill Taylor and Nan Dorey. Graduated from McMaster University in 1969, retired from Hamilton Health Sciences in 2014 after 28 years. Fondly remembered by many friends and family. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the M.A. CLARK & SONS FUNERAL HOME (567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton) on Saturday April 23rd from 1:00-3:00pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00pm, in the chapel. A private family inurnment will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

I'm thinking about you all. I have so many fond memories of Dave from growing up. I remember after my Dad died standing and talking with him in the kitchen in Ancaster about orchids. Somehow I had never noticed them before, and he had a beautiful description of them and clear admiration of them. I'm so sorry for this loss. There is so much shared history, and I'm sending deep love and care your way.

We were sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Steve and I had a long sports history with Dave during the 80´s and 90´s. We played on baseball and volleyball teams and were known as the Fossils. Shared a few beers after too. Always a good sport and team mate, we have many good memories of Dave.
