David WALKINSHAW Obituary
Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, surrounded by family on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the age of 83. Beloved Husband of Margaret (nee Kvoriak) for 58 years. Loving father of Nancy and Holly. Cherished and loving papa to Malcolm, Ian, Ryan, Jack, and Dave. Great grandfather to Winsley and Lakelyn. Dear brother of the late Jean and Derek. Cherished brother-in-law to Nora and Bryan. Many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Thank you for all the care and compassion from the nurses and doctors at Joseph Brant Hospital. Cremation has taken place as per his wishes. A Celebration of David's Life will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022, with a reception to follow. omg Dave cant believe youve gone...so many good times together in our early 20s. Burlington..the dances the Muskokas reminiscing about the days back in the old country in the 50s. Our regards to Marg Nora and Bryan...still remember Expo 67 Good times

I have had the opportunity to know Dave for the last decade or so. Conversations with Dave and Marg were always anticipated and pleasurable. A fine upstanding and respected gentleman. He will be missed.
