KOSJER, Desanka It is with heavy hearts that the family of Desanka Kosjer announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer, on November 1, 2019 at the age of 75. Desa will be lovingly remembered by her husband Milan of 60 years and with their children; son Denny; daughter Sonia Mijatovic and son-in-law Risto. Baka Desa will also be fondly remembered by her three grandchildren Aleksandar with his wife Jessica, Adriana and Evren. She will be forever cherished in the hearts of her siblings - her brothers Predeceased Stevo, Mico and Dragan Srbijanovic and her sisters Pre-deceased Radmila, Slavica Sapulovic, Nada Cudic, Zeljka Orescanin, Pre-deceased Jadranka Matrada along with their respective families. Desa will never be forgotten by the Kosjer, Aralica, Sarenac, Peric and Bucan, families, her Kumovi, and will always be in the hearts of all her nieces, nephews and friends not only in Canada, but also by those in the United States and across Europe. The family would like to thank the Juravinski Cancer Clinic and Unit for their tender care during her final days. Visitation will be held at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME , 36 Lake Ave Dr., Stoney Creek on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Radovan Kodic officiating, interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, 735 Highway #8, west of Jones Road, Stoney Creek.
