Dimitra MATSOS Obituary
The family of Dimitra Matsos is deeply saddened to announce her passing on August 24th 2021 at the age of 97 years.
Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Yia Yia to all who knew her.
Yia Yia passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Petros Matsos, and Daughter Frida Papadoniou
Yia Yia will be lovingly remembered by her Daughters Fotini (John) Zaferis, Vicky (Basilicki) Taktikos.
Her Grandchildren Andres, (Lindsay) Angelo (Tiffany), Angela ( Justin), Niko (Klaudia), Demetre, & Michael.
Her Great Grandchildren Emaliyah, Aiden, Angelina, Christina, Cassandra, & Niko.
Yia Yia will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

A Visitation / Prayer Service will be held at DODSWORTH & BROWN Robinsons Chapel. 15 West Avenue N, Hamilton, ON L8L 5B9
Public visitation will start at 2pm on Thursday August 26th 2021. You must call between the times of 9am-5pm, (905) 807-7039 to call and book a reservation for a time slot.
A Funeral Service will be held 12pm Friday August 27th 2021 at St.Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
