STARR, Donna Anne (nee Coleman) August 3, 1938 - July 7, 2017 With saddened, heavy hearts our family announces the peaceful passing of Donna, surrounded by her family. Cherished wife and best friend of Joe for 60 years. Loving mother of Cheryl (Rob), Sandy (Jay) and Susan (Dave). Devoted grandma of Storey, Andrea, Nina and Logan. Survived by her sister Irene Coleman and sister-in-law Marion Hoover. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Donna was a proud Binbrook resident who was very active in many community organizations. She enjoyed her Binbrook Seniors Euchre Club, ""Odd Couples"" Club and Local 67 Seniors Club. Donna took great pleasure in her regular swimming with the seniors at Valley Park Pool. She will be dearly missed for her beautiful personality, caring heart and the smile she offered generously to all. Donna faced her illness with determination and she never lost her will to turn things around. Donna's family and friends will gather at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Ave. E on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Glanbrook Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to St. Peter's Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Program would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
