Donna (Rollo) TUFFORD

We are saddened to tell you of the passing of our Donna.

Donna was born in Hamilton, the 2nd child to Susan and the late Walter (1994) Sedlbauer.

She is survived by her mom Susan, Husband Tim, and children Heather Rollo, Brad Rollo (Stephanie) and Rory Tufford (Alessandra). Donna has 4 beautiful grandchildren: Alexia, Samantha, Hayden, and Hunter. She will be missed by her sister Susan (Andy), brother Ron (Sue) and brother Steve (Pat) as well as all her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many great friends. Family and friends were hugely important to Donna, and she has the gift of bringing everyone together. You always felt blessed after spending any time with her.

Donna loved sports and played baseball, golfed, and curled for many years. She made many lifelong friends during these times, and she has received many heartfelt tributes. She was very happy to be a 30 year+ member at the Burlington Golf and Country Club. She was a great fan of all the Toronto teams and the TiCats and you could hear her cheer from any room in the house!!!!

Donna also had a strong faith and attended Wellington Square Church her whole life. She was a member of a number of small groups and was involved with the children on Sunday mornings for many years, where she was known as "Candy Donna" for all the treats she would give out. Again here, Donna made many lifelong friends.

Donna is kind and gentle and yet so strong and tough as she demonstrated during her illness. One of her favourite places to be was the cottage where she loved to host family and friends - always made everyone feel welcomed and right at home.

Our family is humbled by the skill of the nurses and doctors at Joseph Brant Hospital, our wonderful Oncologist Dr. Christjanson, her awesome staff and the wonderful folks in ICU and by how much they care. We feel the same about the great people at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington which was Donna's home until she passed. It is an oasis of gentleness, tenderness, kindness, and love. We are feeling very blessed by the care and compassion of Smith's Funeral Home, Wellington Square United Church and Reverend Katie Southon and Dr. Reverend Orville James who are leading us in Donna's Celebration of Life. To our family and friends - there are no words to express how grateful and blessed we are because of your kindness, care, prayers, and love. Thank you.

Our Donnie was and will continue to be well loved.

Visitation at Wellington Square United Church, 2121 Caroline St, Burlington, on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 2pm until the time of the service at 3 p.m. A reception will follow at the church. If desired, memorial contributions to Joseph Brant Hospital, The Carpenter Hospice or Wellington Square United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
