Dora DEWAR Obituary

DEWAR, Dora (nee Beecher) Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the age of 91. Loving mother to John Watson. Beloved partner of Alex Weir. Step mom to Glenn Weir and Susan Williams. Cherished step grandmother to Caroline and Erin. Dora will also be missed by her extended family, siblings, neighbours and friends. Dora was a retired psychiatric nurse and an active member of the Tartan Club. Dora and her partner Alex spent the last 20 years ballroom dancing, cruising and travelling, living life to the fullest. She will be missed. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Dora's ashes will be returned to her birthplace in Scotland.
