Doris WELLS Obituary
WELLS, Doris Rebecca (Oatman) Passed away at Hillsdale Estates LTC Home in Oshawa on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in her 91st year. Loving mother of Jim and Scott (Beverly). Grandmother to Paul (Jessica), Colin (Jenifer) and Elizabeth. Great-grandmother to Isabelle, Connor and Sophie. Predeceased by siblings Blake, Jean, Verne and Wayne. Survived by sisters Dola and Evelyn (Willy). Doris is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Doris was an avid bridge player and became quite the artist after retiring. Doris enjoyed travelling with friends and toured the U.K., Europe and Australia. Following Doris' wishes a graveside gathering will be held prior to interment of the ashes in the Oatman family plot, New Road cemetery (Tillsonburg) in the late spring. The family deeply appreciated the loving care provided by the staff on Primrose Path and Maple Grove at Hillsdale Estates. Online condolences may be made at www.newcastlefuneralhome.com
