Dorothy Lillian Elizabeth Dawson

Dorothy's family announces her peaceful passing away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Satellite Health Centre in her 100th year. Dorothy now joins her beloved husband Jimmy (2011). Dorothy's strength and compassion for others will be forever remembered by her children Ted (Fran), Barbara (Bob), and Beverley (Eric), by her grandchildren Jim, Cam, Kevin, Cathy, Rob, Heather, and Brian as well as by her 14 great grandchildren; all of whom she cherished deeply. Dorothy shared a special bond with her sister Helen and will be greatly missed by her brothers Bob and Steve. Dorothy inspired those she met with her warm and loving heart and strong independent nature and she will be held in the hearts of her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Dorothy's family will receive guests at the LG Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa Street N. 905-544-1147) on Sunday, May 22 for a time of visitation from 12 Noon - 1 pm with a funeral service immediately after in the chapel. Cremation will follow.
