Dorothy Devney Obituary

Dorothy joined her loving husband Wilfred (2020) and son Alan (1976) on Sunday, March 12th. She will be deeply missed by son John (Laura) of Australia, nieces Susan (Brian), Janet (Tony), Yvonne (England), special friends Sue (Uli) (Germany), Margaret, and extended family and friends. The family would like to thank all the staff and residents of Pearl and Pine for their ongoing friendship, thoughtfulness, and care and kindness throughout the years with a special thank you to Andrew for helping out in so many different ways. Also, special thanks to the many staff of Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) whose compassionate care and support over diverse hours, was very much appreciated. A celebration of life will take place at St. Christopher's Anglican Church (662 Guelph Line, Burlington) on Wednesday, April 5th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. If desired, donations in Dorothy's memory can be made to the Salvation Army or St. Christopher's Anglican Church.
