Peacefully, at the Juravinski Hospital, with his family by his side, Eddie Hickey in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Norah for 63 wonderful years. Loving father of Patti and Bob Bowman, Colleen and Bruce Campbell, Elizabeth Chaisson, and reunited with his son Jimmy. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Laurie, his grandchildren, Ryan, Mark, and Kaylin Bowman, Nicole and Laurel Campbell, Natalie and Alisha Hickey, and Dalton and Cole Chaisson, and seven great-grandchildren. Ed is predeceased by his parents Ella and Thomas Hickey, as well as his brothers and sister. Ed was an avid sports participant and fan. He retired from Dofasco after 30 years of service, and was a member of the Dofasco Retiree Club. He was a founding Parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. His greatest joys were to have his family home for Sunday supper, and cheering on the grandkids in sports and occasionally yelling at the referees. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 1 p.m. Due to distancing requirements, all visitors must register at
