Bill's family are heartbroken to announce his passing, after a battle with cancer, that he fought with utmost courage and dignity. Bill leaves behind, Christine, his loving and adoring wife, best friend, and sidekick, of 22 years. His beloved, caring and doting sister Doris, and her husband Mark. Bill is predeceased by his precious mother, Fenia, his father John, and his godmother, Anna. Bill was a caring and loving stepdad to Seonad, Fiona and her husband Jim, and Ken (deceased). He was just plain old Bill the joker, to Christine's grandchildren, Vanessa and her husband Matt, and Eddy. Bill was so very much loved by all of Christine's family in Scotland, and especially by Linda and Ian.
He will be remembered by many friends and co-workers, that he met over the years.
The family wishes to thank all Doctors, Nurses & the Palliative Team at St. Joseph's Hospital for their special care of our Bill. Bill was one of a kind and there will never be another like him. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name, may be sent to the 5th Floor, Complex Care Unit, at St. Joseph's Hospital Hamilton. At Bill's request, cremation has taken place.
