Mrs. Eileen Theresa Paquette passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Margaret's Place on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Delton Paquette (2007) for over 50 years. Loving mother of Brian (Lynn) and Glenn (Ginger). Cherished grandma of Ashley (Brad), Ella and Avery and great-grandmother of Teegen. Dear sister of Walter Decker and Frank Decker. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Special thank you to Cyndi Cain for her dedication and support for mom over many years. Eileen's family would like to recognize the wonderful staff at Margaret's Place for their love and dedication for mom over the past couple of months. Thank you for treating her and us like family. The family would also like to recognize the staff at Home Care and the Juravinski Hospital for their incredible care for mom. We mourn the loss of the matriarch of our family, but we remember that she lives in us by the examples she set. Resting at the Cresmount Funeral Home, Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave. E, Hamilton on Saturday, August 20th and Sunday, August 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Margaret Mary's Parish, 20 Idlewood Ave., on Monday, August 22nd at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations to Margaret's Place would be appreciated by the family.
