Jones Shannon, Elma - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elma, in her 90th year, on Monday, November 9, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Leo Shannon, mother to Lynda (Joseph), Rick, Bill (Sue) and loving grandmother to Kathy, Terri-Lynn, Dennis, Sherri, Steven, and Jodie and 9 great grandchildren. Elma will be fondly remembered by many other extended family and friends. She enjoyed her yearly trips and weekend get togethers. Elma is predeceased by her parents Edgar and Bella and sons Robert and David. Elma's family will receive friends at the LG Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa Street North 905-544-1147) on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID and limited capacity, we ask that guests call the funeral home to reserve a time to join Leo's family.
