Peacefully at Macassa Lodge on September 7, 2021 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley. Loving mother of George and Richard (Karen). Cherished Babcia of Justin (Miriam), Brittany Arevalo (Rene), Matthew. Grandbabcia of Maisie and Riyan. Special thanks to the staff of Macassa Lodge and the doctors and nurses of Juravinski Hospital, for their compassionate care. Due to Covid-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Please RSVP in advance for the service by calling 905-547-1121.
