Eva TREVISANI

Peacefully surrounded by her family on June 18, 2022, at Macassa Lodge, Eva passed away in her 96th year. Beloved wife for 70 years to Quinto. Loving mother of David (the late Patricia), Catherine Massey (Jeff), Dino (Barrett) and Doris (Greg). Dear Nonna of Ashley, Cassandra, Liam, Brent, Austin, Nicole, Paige, Dean and Sierra. Dear sister of Anna Zanon (Bruno) and predeceased by her sister Vincenza and brother Adamo. Survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy and Canada. Eva will be fondly remembered for her love of singing and her passion for cooking at home and for 40 years at the Hillcrest Restaurant. Eva immigrated from Italy to Canada in 1952 and was the strength and love of our family. Through happiness or hardship, she would always tell her children to "Fate Forte." Special thanks to the staff at Macassa Lodge for their care and compassion shown to our mom during her stay. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Wednesday, June 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 20 Idlewood Ave., on Thursday, June 23rd at 10am. Entombment to take place at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
