Evelyn MASON

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Roy (2013). Loving mother of Roy and his wife Anne. Grandmother of Ryan and his wife May. Loving mother of Paul and his wife Paula Randazzo and family. Predeceased by her three bothers and four sisters. Evelyn Mason (nee Higginson) lived a full, happy and healthy life and enjoyed knitting, crosswords, gardening and her Leafs and Blue Jays. Her past few years at Seasons in Stoney Creek were enriched by her many friends and caring staff. Evelyn enjoyed her many friends and family and was loved by all. Special thanks to her long time close friends Rose and Bill Birr of Grimsby. The family would like to thank Dr. Boyle and her team as well as Stephanie Dennis at St. Joseph's Hospital for their compassionate care in the final weeks of our mother's life. We are also grateful to Dr. Lubbad in Grimsby who took a keen interest in our mothers health and provided an exemplary level of care as Evelyn's family doctor. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated.
