It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Nonno Ezio on February 25th at St.Joseph's Hospital in his 92nd year. Concezio born on March 12th, 1929 in Collarmele, Italy will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his wife of 66 years Assunta (D'Alessandro), his children Gino (Cinzia) Sbraccia and Marcella (Paul) Lico and his greatest pride and joys, his grandchildren Adrian, Marco and Gabriel Sbraccia, Emma and Veronica Lico. Now reunited with his loving parents Luigi and Teresa Sbraccia and in-laws Filippo and Maria D'Alessandro. Cherished brother and brother-in-law to the late Elena (late Felice) Cipriani, the late Lino (late Amabile) Sbraccia, the late Antonio (late María) D'Alessandro, the late Vincenzo (late Carmelina) D'Alessandro, Teresa (late Francesco) Ranalli, the late Giovanni (Maria Teresa) D'Alessandro, the late Ascenza (late Luigi) Trippanera all of Italy as well as the late Michele (Maria) D'Alessandro of Australia. Ezio was blessed in life and will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, Italy and Australia. Zio Concezio will always be in the hearts of his adored nephews Norman (Rosanna) Cipriani and Piero Cipriani of Italy, whom he loved as his own sons. Special thanks go to the many Doctors, Nurses and staff of The Hamilton General Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital especially Dr. Levine, Dr. Schunemann & the Palliative team of Dr. Boyle and nurse Carolyn, CTU North nurses Kristy, Marisa and Jay-Lene and Meghan, to the many Bayshore/St. Elizabeth PSW's who went above and beyond to help and care for Ezio over the last 6 Months. Our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sztramko and Claire of The Centre for Healthy Aging, Robin and Jessica of the LHIN, Andrew of The Alzheimer's Society and the paramedics and MSRT Team of HPS, whom provided us and Ezio tremendous support, compassion and caring. Your generosity, kindness and concern will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Sunday, February 28, from 1-4p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10a.m. on Monday, March 1st, 2021 at St. Ann's Parish, Ancaster. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Ancaster.
