Fernando Pietrantonio

It is with profound sadness that we share the peaceful passing of our dear father and forever loved Nonno. Fernando entered the presence of his faithful Lord on Monday March 27, 2023 at the Juravinski Hospital in his 88th year. Predeceased by his cherished wife Ada in 2004. He was a pillar of strength to his children Lidia and Joseph Sepe, Donna and Joe Moroniti, and Josephine and Warren DeForest. Proud and adoring Nonno to Katelyn and Michael Sepe, Jessica and Peter-Anthony DeForest, and Jonathan and David Moroniti. Predeceased by his parents Cesidio and Olympia, and siblings Francesco, Margherita Fasciano, Giovanni, and brother-in-law Giuseppe Desantis. Survived by his sister-in-law Carmelina Desantis. Devoted Zio to Cid and Robert Pietrantonio and their families. As well as Nadia Carrara and Fausta Masciocchi and their families in Italy.
Special thanks to his devoted caregivers who treated Fernando like family, Maurizio, Samina, and Edelma. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our dear friends and family who visited and always took that extra minute to check in. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated.
Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL (43 Barton Street East) on Thursday March 30, 2023 from 2-5 & 6-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Parish (165 Prospect St N) on Friday March 31, 2023 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
