Françoise Cyr Obituary
Françoise Cyr, 65, of Dundas, passed away peacefully on October 13th. She will be remembered for her irresistible joie de vivre, loving and generous spirit, and repute of kindness and compassion. Her legacy of love and laughter continues through the lives of her beloved children, Maxime and Dominik.
She is predeceased by her loving husband of 13 years, Dr. Bernard Bourgoin, who has accompanied her in every step of her earthly journey, and will continue to guide her beyond her passing. Françoise leaves behind cherished family in her hometown of Grand Falls, New Brunswick. She is survived by her mother, Cécile Bellefleur; her loving siblings and their partners; Mariette Cyr and Maurice LaFrance, Bob Cyr and Irène, Jean-Guy and Claude; and her precious nieces and nephews.
As a retired French Immersion teacher with the HWDSB, Francoise spent 33 years rousing the minds and hearts of her students and fellow educators. Françoise was adored and treasured by all who knew her. She moved through life with such grace and poise, and with an immense love for travel, music, and good company. Francoise's legacy will carry on in every soul she has touched. In her own words: "Smile, have fun, life is too short. Love always, amour toujours."
