Frances HILVERS

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Hilvers at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Harry (2017). Loving mother of Greg and Mike (Lisa). Now reunited with her daughter, Cindy (2016) (Brian Greaves). Predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Ravensbergen; and by her siblings, Anna Ravensbergen, Catherine den Haan (the late Bert) and Chris Ravensbergen. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Crystal (Brenden), Melody (Jason), Liam (Rowan), Sarah (Brodie), and Joy (Colin). Frances was strong in her faith, and church was very important to her. She was a long time member of Fruitland CRC, and upon it's recent closing, joined Smithville CRC. She will be dearly missed. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Townline Road, Smithville, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. Private interment for family will be held at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery prior to the service. If desired, memorial donations in Frances' memory made to Redeemer College would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
