Francesco "Frank" MEZZALIRA

MEZZALIRA, Francesco ""Frank"" Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, with his family at his side, on Monday, June 12, 2017, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Louise (Lou) (nee Feltracco). Loved father of Sandra Wood and Gerry Mezzalira (Cathy). Cherished Nonno of Megan Wood, Nick Wood, Eric Mezzalira and Taylor Mezzalira. Dear brother-in-law of the late Albert Feltracco (Nancy). Frank was a long time employee of Stelco and John Inglis. He was a member of the Venetian Club, Winona Seniors, golfed with the Dofasco Retired Men's League and bowled with the Bright-Side Men's League. Frank enjoyed his retirement years with his family. He was a huge fan of the McMaster Marauders football team. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 10 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
