Frank Edwards Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce Frank's passing, in his ninety-ninth year, on May 22, 2021. Predeceased by his first wife Phyllis and survived by his devoted wife Carole of forty-two years. Loving father of Barry, Robin and Carol and stepfather of Michael and Christopher Wylie. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and a great grandson. During WW11 Frank served in the RCVNR and later was an Executive Engineer with TRW in Brantford for thirty years. Frank enjoyed acting in community theatre for a time and was a passionate amateur radio operator (VE3ER) over many years. He was mentally alert to the end of life and directed that thanks be expressed to the staff of Ancaster Meadows for the care he received there and that the celebration of his life be a private one.

Carole and family , may you be blessed with remembered joy.
I didn’t know Frank but his life story touched many familiar notes... my mother ( passed at 98 ) and was RCNVR as a Wren during WWII, she also inspired me to learn Morse code ( she was a decoder in Halifax) and I became a ham radio operator some 40 years ago. I hope some member of the family will join the ranks of amateur radio and take on Frank’s call letters.
