Franz Pertl Obituary

With heavy hearts we share the news of the passing of Franz Xavier Pertl in his 93rd year. Survived by his wife Elva Pertl and his daughters Brigitte Pertl and Sonya Aitchison and his son Dan Anderson and son Barry Anderson and wife Am, his grandson Matthew Aitchison and his wife Marie and great granddaughters Ella Grace and Evelyn Claire. Family members Mary Baumgartner, Godson Jason ,wife Lucy and family, Kathryn McConachie, husband Colin and family and various family members in Austria and the U.S. Predeceased by his nephew Adi Baumgartner and all his brothers and sisters in the U. S. and Austria. Franz was a 36 year employee of Dofasco and a 35 year member of the Austrian Club. He was an avid skier, loved soccer and hockey, loved to travel and was an amazing husband, father, Opa and friend. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905.527.0405) on Sunday August 7th from 5-8 PM . Funeral Service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - Burlington, 1010 Botanical Drive, Burlington on Monday, August 8th, 2022 at .11 AM , .

Franzy was so loved, our kids loved him greatly also. Such a man that would stay in your memory for ever, love, kindness, very well spoken with strong conviction at times...lol!!!! A life so well lived and always enjoyed his sharing of events regarding Elva and his shared lives and adventures. Always ready to party and so loving to our kids!
