Frederick Albert DARBY

DARBY, Frederick Albert Fred passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, surrounded by his family. Fred was the son of the late Hazel and Bill Darby of Hamilton, the much-loved husband and best friend of Joan (Martin) and the amazing and beloved father of Gillian and Warren, both of Ottawa. Fred is survived by his sister Deanna, of Hamilton, and his brothers Doug of Brantford, Kirk of Richmond Hill, and Kerry and Kevin, both of Hamilton. He was predeceased by his sister Gail. A private family interment will be held at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Richmond, Ontario. Donations in his name can be made to the Lanark Renfrew Lung Health Program, North Lanark Community Health Centre, 207 Robertson Rd., Lanark, ON K0G 1K0, in thanks for the wonderful and positive support they gave to Fred during his struggle with pulmonary fibrosis.
