I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I worked with Guy at Fabbrica, and he was always so joyful, funny, ready to crack a joke and make us laugh. Working at the restaurant with him was a lot of fun, and he had so much experience and gave me tips along the way.
He always spoke about his son Gabriel and how proud he was of him. So much love in his heart. He also loved his music, and we would talk to me about bands. Great soul, may he rest in peace. You are in my prayers.

I was very blessed to work with Guy at Bymark .Guy used to drive me nuts tapping his fingers impatiently awaiting his order , than laugh when he was busted. My daughter Hannah and Gabriel once had lunch together at Bymark , ages 6 and 11. Guy was one of those guys that would test your knowledge in Music and History.Guy always kept you on your toes.Guy was and will always be in my heart forever.

Guy had an incredible memory. He would see clients walk into the restaurant and recall serving them 35 years prior, could recall what they are and the names of their dogs. Incredible. I haven’t worked with him in years but still clients ask for him. An awesome spirit. He always hummed the same few lines from the same few songs, I think of him whenever I hear it. Thank you Guy for teaching me to use olive oil in so many ways - who knew it was a great shoe polish or last minute moisturizer? What a guy Guy was. Rest well Sir.

I worked with Guy for a few years at Fabbrica. Will always remember his sense of humour, how he talked with passion and love and pride about his son, his love of food and music and of course his famous greeting of “hey, buddy boy”. Condolences to his family.
