We called him Mr. Garnet at Strathcona Public School, Hamilton, to avoid any confusion because the school principal also had the last name of Graham. He was my grade 6 teacher in 1956-57. He was an excellent teacher, very kind and patient and I shall never forget him.

Dalewood School trip to Fort George 1960. Mr. Graham right, Mr. Mogg (sp) left. Both Mr. Graham and Mr. Mogg taught me at Dalewood, both very fine teachers. Douglas Ross Gow, Brantford Ontario.

My sincere condolences to the family. Mr. Graham was my grade six teacher at Dalewood school in west Hamilton many years ago, 1958 or 59? I remember what a great teacher he was and a great sense of humor. I still have a photo I took of he and Mr. Mogg (?) another great teacher in the stocks at Fort George during a school trip. Again my condolences. Douglas Gow. Brantford Ontario. I am now 75 years old ,my how the time flies.

Barb and family;
Joan and I wish to convey our deepest sympathies on Garnet’s passing. As was stated in his obituary, he was a gentle man. Garnet was always a pleasure to be around and he graciously laughed at my jokes no matter how lame. Garnet was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with you.
