Im very heartbroken from my grandfathers passing i wish i could have spent so much more time with him the saying you dont know what you have until its gone is very true he was a very loving and caring person he was always helping others as much as he could i learned alot from him and my memories of him taking me and my grandmother on a ride with his atv attaching a sled during the winter was so fun and never forgettable, when i was young he took me through the woods on many adventures with my grandmother my mom uncle brian aunt dawn my sister and brother my grandfather was a very happy positive person it was hard to talk about anything serious without him making me laugh, there are too many good memories that will live forever in my heart and soul until we meet again i love you grandad

We called him Mr. Garnet at Strathcona Public School, Hamilton, to avoid any confusion because the school principal also had the last name of Graham. He was my grade 6 teacher in 1956-57. He was an excellent teacher, very kind and patient and I shall never forget him.

Dalewood School trip to Fort George 1960. Mr. Graham right, Mr. Mogg (sp) left. Both Mr. Graham and Mr. Mogg taught me at Dalewood, both very fine teachers. Douglas Ross Gow, Brantford Ontario.

My sincere condolences to the family. Mr. Graham was my grade six teacher at Dalewood school in west Hamilton many years ago, 1958 or 59? I remember what a great teacher he was and a great sense of humor. I still have a photo I took of he and Mr. Mogg (?) another great teacher in the stocks at Fort George during a school trip. Again my condolences. Douglas Gow. Brantford Ontario. I am now 75 years old ,my how the time flies.

Barb and family;
Joan and I wish to convey our deepest sympathies on Garnet’s passing. As was stated in his obituary, he was a gentle man. Garnet was always a pleasure to be around and he graciously laughed at my jokes no matter how lame. Garnet was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with you.
